Learn How to Punch Needle

Join us for this 3 hour beginner punch needle workshop in London at iconic Spitalfields Market.

Soak up the atmosphere whilst learning how to punch needle your choice of pattern. Rachel will share her knowledge of this mindful craft to get a highly polished finish. You will learn how to transfer your design, all about the technique including troubleshooting and be able to go on to make your own projects at home such as punch needle cushions or wall hangings.

Included in the workshop is all materials a gripper hoop, embroidery hoop, punch needle fabric and British wool. All tools and materials are high quality and you will be creating your chosen pattern with our own exclusive range of 100% British Punch Needle Wool. In the workshop you will be working with the Lavor punch needle rug tool and if you would like to buy this at the end of the workshop this will be offered at a discounted price.

There are a number of patterns for you to choose from including summer themed pineapples, watermelons or monstera plants! If you would like to use your own pattern we will provide a pen and template to draw this before transferring to the fabric.

This workshop will allow you to confidently continue with your punch needle journey which will create you lots of joy!

Before the workshop we thoroughly recommend having a look around the many small business market traders at Urban Makers Market within the downstairs area of Spitalfields Market and also try one of the many delicious food stalls! Such a great way to spend a day out in the big city!
