New, Amy Oxford Gripper Strip Lap Frames 

The Oxford Gripper strip lap frames are exceptional quality. The frame allows you to keep your fabric drum taut whilst punching. The size of frames that we stock means you can move your fabric on the frame to create a much bigger project, such as a bath rug.

The two sizes that we have available are:

• 18 inches x 18 inches (46.5cm x 46.5 cm)
• 15 inches x 26 inches (38.1cm x 66.04cm)

With the 18 inch frame, you would only have to move the fabric once to make a great size floor mat or no need to move the fabric at all to make a great size cushion.

With the 15 x 26 inch frame this would make a great size rug without having to move the fabric at all so you can enjoy drawing and punch needling your project with ease.

It is only recommended moving the fabric on the frame if you are using high quality wool. If you move the fabric having used non-wool fibres, the loops may snag and pull out.

We recommend using chunky wool with the gripper frames, see our new Amy Oxford block colour yarn here or our own high quality British Wool here.  We would recommend at least 400 grams of yarn to make a 18 inch cushion or approx double this for a rug measuring 36 inches by 18 inches.

For the fabric we recommend using monks cloth, we have Oxford Monks Cloth available here.

The frames come with a white Oxford Company Gripper Cover.

The frames need to be assembled with Phillips screwdriver. Instructions are provided.
